I had a fantastic experience with the BOSS Digital Orthodontics Diploma. The course is extremely thorough and comprehensive, covering all essential aspects of digital orthodontics and aligner therapy in a very structured and easy-to-follow manner.

I’m currently completing the BOSS Orthodontic Diploma with Dr Vandana and it has been one of the most enjoyable and valuable learning experiences I’ve had in dentistry.

What makes the program different is Dr Vandana’s ‘make it make sense’ approach to orthodontics. Instead of memorising rigid rules, she teaches the biological principles behind treatment in a a clear, logical and very practical way. It’s a refreshing, no-nonsense approach that really builds confidence in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Despite being a comprehensive diploma program, the learning environment feels incredibly supportive and personal. Dr Vandana is very generous with her knowledge and genuinely cares about helping dentists practise orthodontics safely and well.

I have gained far beyond my expectations from this orthodontic diploma course. I never thought online course could be so effective!  Apart from Leveling up in dentistry, having one to one tuition has been great. The program is led by Dr. Vandana Katyal, an accomplished Australian orthodontist, who shares her extensive clinical knowledge and experience with clarity and precision. She provides invaluable guidance on which treatment options are most predictable in specific clinical situations, ensuring a strong foundation for safe and effective patient care.
The curriculum is exceptionally well-structured, with monthly case discussion webinars that focus on detailed treatment planning and troubleshooting of ClinChecks. One of the most impressive aspects is Dr. Katyal’s responsiveness—she answers questions very quickly, always providing detailed, evidence-based explanations. Every concept is backed by current research, and students are trained to engage with and learn from these research papers, which elevates the learning experience.

I highly recommend the BOSS course to anyone who wants to gain a solid understanding of clear aligners and feel confident when treating patients. Dr. V is incredibly dedicated, providing a lot of support through one-on-one coaching, online webinars, and addressing individual questions on the platforms. The course website also includes a variety of well-organized content that can be accessed at any time.
Over the 18-month period, there are many opportunities to have your cases evaluated through individual coaching sessions as well as monthly, and occasionally biweekly, webinars which is a great value.
I also find the course to be excellent in terms of record keeping knowledge and case selection, which is both beneficial for medico-legal considerations.

This program provides exceptional structure from day 1 and offers an abundance of educational resources accessible 24/7. The Monthly group meetings inspired and empowered me to confidently tackle more complex orthodontic cases. The online study format allowed me to learn at my own pace, in the comfort of my own home, and efficiently manage my time while balancing family and work commitments and responsibilities. I recently completed the BOSS Diploma Course  and it was an amazing experience. Enrolling for the  course was one of the best decisions  in my life. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to strengthen their skills in digital orthodontics . The  course is 100% online  and self-paced.  The resources are excellent. I am incredibly grateful for this well-structured and thoughtfully designed course. It provided me with a strong foundation in digital orthodontics—something we barely touch upon during our undergraduate studies. The transition to the new portal was a fantastic upgrade! It is user-friendly, allows easy tracking of progress, and enhances the overall learning experience.

The portfolio assessments were a game changer, helping me gain extensive knowledge and truly reinforcing my learning. This course significantly boosted my confidence, making me feel well-equipped to take on more cases confidently.

One of the biggest highlights was the monthly case discussions. Watching Dr. V provide personalized, one-on-one support to each candidate was invaluable. Seeing live ClinCheck modifications gave me a deep understanding of treatment planning and decision-making.

  • I completed the BOSS UK Diploma in 2021 and when it became available, signed up for the AU course as well. I completed the AU course at the end of last year and can honestly say BOSS (now Digital Orthodontic College) has completely changed my approach to clear aligner treatments and increased my confidence with treatment planning immensely. The fact that the course is 100% online was a huge drawcard for me initially since I have two young children, work clinically part-time and run my own business. It allowed me the flexibility to study when I had the chance and didn’t result in any loss of clinical time. Dr V is extremely passionate about orthodontics and more importantly sharing her wisdom and that comes through in her approach to teaching.
